Cate Blanchett wowed again as she stepped out for the LA premiere of Blue Jasmine
And that wasn't about the change when she arrived at the LA premiere of her new film Blue Jasmine.
The star - who managed to pull off a quirky Balenciaga dress earlier on in the week - decided to tone things down a bit for last night's promotion of the film, opting for a simple yet elegant monochrome frock.
Looking every inch the stylish fashionista, Cate waltzed down the red carpet with an air of confidence about her that ensure she had all eyes on her.

Keeping her look minimal, as she always does, the starlet simply added a sweep of red lipstick to her drop waist dress and a box clutch which she held in her hand.
She wore her blonde hair in an exaggerated side parting and finished off her look with a pair of peep toe heels.
The Oscar winning actress was joined by her co-stars, including Peter Saarsgaard who looked dapper in a navy blue suit.

Rose Byrne also looked gorgeous as she arrived at the event, held at the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences.
She opted for a pale number which featured an origami style pattern. She added a purple box clutch and a pair of cream shoes.
Another attendee included actress Kalye Cuoco, who recently split from Superman actor Henry Cavill.

The Big Bang Theory star looked ultra glam in a pink and blue floral patterned playsuit, which she teamed with a pair of cobalt blue heels and a small clutch bag.
Cate plays Jasmine, once incredibly wealthy and a firm member of New York's high society, now broke after her marriage to Hal, played by Alec Baldwin, ends and she forced to move in with her working class sister in San Francisco.
The star is often daring with her fashion choices
