Starting between 2015 and 2020, a series of posthumous Salinger releases are planned including one which centres on Catcher In The Rye protagonist Holden Caulfield and his family, the writers said.
David Shiels and Shane Salerno, co-authors of the biography Salinger, have cited "two independent and separate sources" who they claim have "documented and verified" the information.
The other volumes would draw from Salinger's World War Two years and his immersion in Eastern religion.
A publication called The Family Glass would feature additional stories about the Glass family of Franny and Zooey and other Salinger works.
Salinger's son, Matt Salinger, who helps run the author's literary estate, was not immediately available for comment.
The Catcher In The Rye still sells around 250,000 copies a year The Salinger estate, which is also partly run by Salinger's widow Colleen O'Neill, has remained silent on the subject since the author's death in January 2010.
The two did not cooperate with Salerno and Shields.
The Catcher In The Rye was published in 1951 and was an immediate success, but led to Salinger becoming a recluse.
His last published work, a novella entitled Hapworth 16, 1924, appeared in The New Yorker in 1965.
There has long been speculation over unseen works and the author himself admitted he wrote daily during an interview with The New York Times in 1974.
"There is a marvellous peace in not publishing," he said at the time.
The new biography includes rare photographs and letters, detail about the author's war years and his brief first marriage.
It also includes an account on how Salinger nearly allowed his classic story For Esme to be made into a film.
